The Butte 100 is operated solely by a group of passionate recreationalists who volunteer their time to promote and organize mountain biking and endurance racing while promoting our area’s multiuse trail systems, promote trail building and trail maintenance while working with land owners and land managers,  and showing the health benefits of cycling and exercise.

These members operate the Butte 100 in a completely voluntary capacity, and at times at their own expense. Financial benefits are applied entirely into the sustainability and experience of the race and its trails.
